Thanks to all who gave valuable feedback. A decision has been made and we have decided to move to a house with a yard. Priceless looks on the kids faces as they ran around the back yard whilst viewing the house pretty made up our minds.
Short termed lease signed and getting the keys on the weekend. Now to pack and to move to the new abode. This leads onto another dilemma... what to do with our 2 bedroom unit?
Should we rent it out or should we sell it? What is the market doing?
There's a poll also created for this sticky situation as well down at the bottom of the page.

Rental House Hunt
The kids are growing up and they need room to play. Not to mention that we need room to store their toys! Also time to think about what school to send the eldest and that we need to be in the area.
The question posed, should we rent a 2 bed house with a yard or stay put in our 2 bed unit? The rental house is $470 per week and by judging the going rental rates for units similar to ours, we should get at least $470 rent in return.
I guess the benefits of renting a house with a yard is that the kids will have some room to play and burn up energy. Not much of that happening on a small balcony in a unit that's for sure. Plus, there's a nice large garage and shed out at the back with heaps of grass. The two bedrooms are quite large, kitchen is on the small side but less to clean. The school near by seems to be very good to boot.
The benefits of staying put is that it will be a less of a financial burden plus already close by a good school as well. The down side I guess would be still stuck in a unit without any room for the kids to play.
Your comments would be great. Please also add to the poll at the bottom of the page.

Motorbike License Result
The decision for a motor bike license or another car is... "On hold". This will be revisited in the next few months. I suspect it may lean towards another car for practicality reasons.
